Eight private igloos tucked inside our plaza seat up to eight people comfortably. Choose between our Dining & Lounge igloos to customize your experience.

Grab a carry-out meal or round of drinks from one of our restaurants or bars that are ready to provide you with their exclusive Igloo menu items featuring apps to share and festive beverages. Let us know you’ve placed an order and we’ll deliver it right to you!

Your Private Igloo Reservation includes: 1.5 hours in your selected dining or lounge igloo, free parking for up to 2 vehicles on Davenport Street, food and drink delivery from resident businesses of The Capitol District.

Plus, you can add on or upgrade your experience as well!

Douglas County Mask Mandate:

Please note, we will always refer back to the formally published policy.

In accordance with the mask mandate from the Douglas County Health Department, we ask that everyone over the age of 5 masks up when checking in and enjoying their igloo unless you are eating or drinking or have a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents the wearing of a face covering

Is outside food and/or drink allowed?

No outside food or drink is permitted. Alcohol is only permitted by businesses within the plaza area. Please call the businesses ahead of time to ensure they will be open during your reservation.

Are pets allowed?

No, we love our furry friends, but please leave them at home.

What is the capacity of the igloos?

8 per Nebraska State guidelines. We can not allow more than 8 people, including children.

Where is parking located and how long can I stay there?

Your 2 included parking spaces are located on Davenport Street. Upon arrival pull up to welcome sign and let us know you’re here! We’ll run your parking pass out and let you know where to park! These spaces are only available 15 minutes prior to your reservation and 15 minutes following your end time. If you plan on spending more time in the district or have more than 2 vehicles, check out additional parking options here.

How do I check in?

Please go to the Ice Lounge, located next door to Annie’s Irish Pub.

Can I book a reservation outside of the normal booking hours?

Yes, please email events@capitoldistrictomaha.com to arrange a reservation.

Do you do group bookings?

How should I dress in my igloo?

Please dress as if you were attending a hockey game or indoor ice skating on colder evenings. There are small heaters inside the igloos, however Nebraska weather can be tough to beat.

IGLOO PARKING

Free igloo parking can be found on Davenport St. south of The Capitol District Parking Deck.

You must check in and receive a parking pass to place on your dashboard of your vehicle when parking. Maximum of 2 spaces available for each igloo reservation. Violators will be towed.

BE KIND

Physical abuse, verbal threats, or sexual harassment is not tolerated in the plaza.  

For the safety of others, all bags are subject to be checked. 

Feel unsafe? Please see a security officer or call 911. 

ALCOHOL

Ages 21+ with valid photo identification only. 

Cups may not leave premises or be taken into restrooms. 

Guests visibly intoxicated will be asked to leave, or will not be able to enter. 

Minors are suggested to be supervised by a parent or guardian since alcohol might be present in the plaza. 

FOOD

Only food purchased from businesses in The Capitol District may be consumed in the igloos. Check out their menus and ordering options here

**If items are stolen or damaged during your reservation of the Igloo, you are subject to additional charges.**

In an effort to provide the best experience possible, The Capitol District will deny entry and remove any guests not following the Guest Code of Conduct with no refund. 

When you reserve your igloo, you are inherently agreeing to adhere to this code of conduct.
