United Way of the Midlands’ Campaign Kickoff

Come join United Way of the Midlands to celebrate their annual Campaign Kickoff party at The Capitol District on Thursday, August 23 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
This free event is open to the public and will feature yard games, a Photo Booth, food and drinks from nearby restaurants and a live concert starting at 5PM put on by the local band Shenanigans featuring Tim Burke, CEO of OPPD.

Help kick off the giving year and celebrate community members who contribute their time, talent and resources to United Way. Last year, thanks to generous donors and businesses who run giving campaigns, we raised $19 MILLION to invest in over 110 programs at 60 local agencies. Let’s get excited to raise our goal amount this year to help over 140,000 people in our community!
The event is being hosted by our Campaign Chairs, Tim and Terri Burke.
