The Capitol District invited area musicians to compete the Musician in Residence, presented by Pella Windows and Doors competition through radio advertisements, word of mouth, and social campaigns. Dozens of local musicians submitted applications and audition videos to compete for 12 months of rent in an unfurnished apartment at The Capitol District Apartments in exchange for live performance time at The Capitol District. Each finalist will perform two songs and the winner will be selected by our panel of judges — and your votes!
We will be taking precautions at this event and following social distancing guidelines. Tables will be spaced 8 feet apart and we will have janitorial staff on site to sanitize regularly. In addition to this and the various sanitizer stations throughout the plaza, we ask that attendees wear masks at the event.
**Table seating is very limited. Please feel free to bring your favorite bag chair to the event.**
